Deleting your account.

You can do this yourself, inside the app, without asking anyone.

Open settings

Tap your profile, then the settings icon in the corner.

Choose delete

Scroll to the bottom. Pausing is offered first if you only want a break.

Confirm

Confirm that you want to delete. You may be asked to sign in again to protect your account. Deletion is permanent; some cleanup may take additional time.

✕ What is removed

  • Your sign-in account, profile, photos and verification selfie
  • Your matches and associated chat records in the active application database
  • Your likes, passes and anyone's likes of you
  • Your preferences and settings
  • The connection granting your family account access to your member activity

✓ What is kept, and why

  • Payment records held by Apple, Google or payment service providers under their retention requirements
  • Information where needed for legal obligations, dispute handling or abuse prevention, subject to applicable retention requirements

Restricted backups and logs may remain temporarily. Contact us for the status of a specific deletion request; we cannot erase copies independently saved by other members.

Family accounts

Family accounts have their own deletion option. Unlinking a family member removes shared access but does not itself delete their separate login. Each account holder can delete their own account from settings.

Deletion status

If deletion cannot finish, follow the message shown in the app or contact help@mubarik.app. If additional processing time is needed, we will explain the timing and confirm completion.

Purchases

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription, because it lives with Apple or Google rather than with us. Cancel from your device before you delete, or you may continue to be billed.

Cannot get into your account?

Email us from the address on the account and ask for deletion. We will verify it is yours before doing anything, and confirm when it is done.

Only want a break?

Pause instead. You stop appearing to everyone else and keep your profile, matches and conversations. It is in the same place in settings.
